About this book:
This book is a Spanish translation of the "Autobiographical Essay" that Borges originally wrote for The New Yorker magazine, and which was later incorporated into "The Aleph and other stories", a book printed in the U.S.
This text is extremely useful as it provides a first-person account of Borges' life. But I'd only recommend it to Spanish speakers who are not able to read the English version of the essay.
If you are reading this, however, it's because you can read English. I'd thus advise you to go for the original. Try borrowing "The Aleph and other stories" from your local library and look for the original English version of this "Autobiographical Essay" in that book.
