The conference entitled "Borges, between the translator and the writer", will take place on July 3rd and 4th, 2009 at the Universidad del Salvador (Salón San Ignacio de Loyola, Tucumán 1845 P.B. - C.A.B.A. - Argentina). The conference is being organized Colegio de Traductores Públicos de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, and its goal is to highlight the importance of literay translations while payng homage to one of Argentina´s foremost writers, Jorge Luis Borges.
